Turf Manager

We pride ourselves on creating beautiful, healthy landscapes that enhance the outdoor experience. We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Turf Manager to join our team.

**Position Overview:**
The Turf Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of turf management, including planning, implementing, and maintaining turf areas. This role requires a strong understanding of agronomy, pest management, irrigation systems, and landscaping practices.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute turf management plans to ensure healthy grass growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Monitor soil health and perform soil testing to determine nutrient needs.
- Manage pest control programs, including the application of fertilizers, herbicides, and fungicides.
- Oversee irrigation systems to maintain optimal moisture levels and assess water usage efficiency.
- Supervise and train staff in turf maintenance techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with landscape architects and groundskeepers to ensure cohesive aesthetic and functional design.
- Maintain records of turf management activities, including treatments, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in turf management.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Turf Management, Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field (preferred).  (relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal degree)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in turf management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of turfgrass species, pest management, and irrigation practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate turf management equipment.
