What You'll Do:

• Lead with Excellence & Cultivate Growth: Oversee and work alongside a team of dedicated turf specialists, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery and fostering a collaborative environment. Coach and develop team members, providing hands-on training on the "Ryan Method" to elevate their skills, efficiency, and knowledge. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and vitality of our clients' lawns.
• Deliver Unrivaled Customer Service & Be a Problem Solver: Interact daily with clients, communicating clearly about services, addressing concerns, and proactively recommending solutions to enhance their properties. Your ability to build rapport and resolve issues will be key to client satisfaction and retention. Proactively identify and resolve client concerns, turning challenges into opportunities for exceptional service. Providing excellent account management and customer service to a territory of customers.
• Master of Turf: Utilize your thorough knowledge of turfgrass, weed, disease, and insect identification to perform diagnostic sales and provide top-tier lawn and pest control services. Conduct thorough assessments of the turfgrass to diagnose and deliver specific lawn care solutions customized for each client.
• Drive Success: Contribute to strategic planning, assist in managing department financial performance, and play a vital role in recruiting and retaining top talent.
• Maintain Operational Excellence: Ensure daily equipment readiness and uphold all safety and legal compliance standards.

What You'll Bring:

• 4+ years of proven experience in the Green Industry.
• A valid Driver's License and DOT Certificate.
• A State-issued pesticide applicator license (Lawn, Ornamental, and Pest Control).
• A Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of equivalent industry experience. Secondary education in agronomy, turfgrass, or agricultural sciences is a plus.
• An unwavering commitment to delivering "best in class" customer service.
• Thorough knowledge of turf department practices, safety requirements, and proficiency with field-based software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• The ability to lift 50 pounds, push/pull objects, and work outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round.
• General knowledge of department-specific equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and Google software platforms.
• A self-motivated and driven individual with a career-focused mindset.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced yet structured environment, paying close attention to detail even under pressure.
• The ability to find enjoyment in building strong relationships with customers, employees, and industry partners.
