TV Mounting Specialist

About the Role

Geeks on Site is looking for skilled and reliable TV Mounting Specialists to perform in-home TV installations. If you have hands-on experience mounting TVs — especially larger, heavier ones (65 inches or 50+ pounds) — and own the right tools, this opportunity offers flexibility, independence, and competitive pay.

This is a contract on-call 1099-based position. You’ll be dispatched to residential sites to securely mount TVs on a variety of wall types (including drywall, brick, and concrete), provide excellent customer service, and ensure a clean, safe work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Mount flat-screen TVs (65” or larger) securely to different types of wall surfaces
• Confirm mount compatibility with wall type and customer needs
• Use appropriate tools to ensure a safe, leveled, and neat installation
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor in customer homes
• Take clear photos of completed jobs for quality assurance
• Communicate job completion and any challenges to dispatch in real time

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Previous work as a handyman, cable tech, or general installer

Experience mounting flat-screen TVs (especially 65”+ and 50+ lbs)

• Comfortable using power drills, stud finders, levelers, anchors, etc.
• Ability to assess wall types and determine the best installation approach
• Own reliable transportation and a full toolset
• Smartphone with camera and ability to use apps for job tracking
• Strong communication and time management skills

• Flat-rate pay per completed job ($100–$150 depending on TV size and complexity)
