Job Description - Two-Year Old LEAD Teacher

About the Role:

Join our vibrant team at The Goddard School of Viera, FL as a Two-Year Old LEAD Teacher! This exciting opportunity allows you to nurture and inspire young minds in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and learning.

Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and social interaction.

Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback and support to ensure developmental milestones are met.

Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.

Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.

Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring safety and fun.

Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in an educational setting.

CPR and First Aid certification required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents.

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.

Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.

Background check and clearances required for employment.
