Job Overview:

We are building a pipeline of UAT Business SME Testers with direct experience in state human services programs to support user acceptance testing for a large eligibility and case management modernization. This role is ideal for former eligibility workers, supervisors, analysts, or state contractors who understand how these programs operate day-to-day.

Responsibilities:

• Execute UAT scenarios based on real operational workflows


• Validate eligibility determinations, case actions, notices, and outcomes


• Provide direct business feedback on system usability and functionality


• Identify, document, and retest issues during UAT


• Collaborate with UAT leadership and system integrator teams to clarify business impacts


• Support compliance and audit-focused testing activities

Required / Preferred Experience:

• Direct experience with SNAP, TANF, Child Support, Child Care, or similar programs


• Background as an eligibility worker, supervisor, policy analyst, or state contractor


• Prior involvement in UAT or system testing (formal or informal)


• Comfort working in test environments and documenting results


• Willingness to work onsite or hybrid during active UAT cycles


• Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate business impacts clearly

Preferred:

• Experience supporting UAT in large, structured delivery environments, including programs led by major system integrators (e.g., Deloitte or similar firms), is a strong plus
