Highlights:

Summary: The Ultrasonographer, Outpatient shall perform duties involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing high frequency sound waves to produce quality images for the detection of pathology. This individual shall perform all diagnostic ultrasound exams including but not limited to: abdomen, obstetrical, breast, gynecological, vascular, and axilla. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed.
Education / Experience:Graduate of a School of Diagnostic Ultrasound required.
License / Certification: Active ARMDS or ARRT in Sonography required , BLS required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Requires manual dexterity.
• Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
• Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints.
• Must remain aware of patient condition at all times.
• Must possess effective communication skills.
• Must be able to assist and maneuver patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds.
