Registered U/S Tech – Diagnostic Imaging – PRN

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO that focuses on personalized care. Requirements

What to expect as a Registered U/S Tech:

  • Work in a teamwork environment.
  • Work a set schedule and be a part of rotating ultrasound call with the other five sonographers.
  • Be able to deliver personal, compassionate care and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of principle and practice of ultrasound procedures and techniques.
  • Acknowledge the various steps of ultrasound workflow process and provide detailed ultrasound imaging for the radiologist and cardiologist interpretation.

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate/Equivalent.
  • Graduate from an approved ultrasound program with ARDMS, Abdomen, OB/GYN, RVT and RDCS (RDCS certification not required.
  • Ability to perform Echo Cardiac Ultrasound procedures for interpretation.
  • 1-2 years in a hospital or clinic setting.
