Ultrasound Tech

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Completion of a certificate program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is also acceptable.

  • Certification in Diagnostic Ultrasound
    

  
  

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Certification –
    

  
  

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) –
    

  
  

  • Registry Eligible
    

  
  

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    

  
  

Experience:

• Previous experience in ultrasound technology is required.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision and care.
  




• Collaborate with physicians for the evaluation and interpretation of imaging results.
  




• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.
  




• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
  




• Document and communicate findings accurately within patient records.
