Responsibilities






Ultrasound Tech Job Summary

 

  • Perform a full range of ultrasound examinations within the imaging department’s scope of service
  • Demonstrate proficiency in OB-GYN, Abdominal, and Vascular ultrasound techniques
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) environment
  • Apply sterile techniques to assist with invasive procedures when necessary
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environme








Qualifications






Ultrasound Tech Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program
  • Registered or registry-eligible with appropriate credentialing body
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging protocols and sterile techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
