Ultrasound Tech - WOMEN'S CARE GROUP

Description

 University Physicians' Association is looking for outstanding candidates to join the Women's Care Group, an OB/GYN practice in Knoxville, TN, as a full-time Ultrasound Technician. 

Perform perinatal ultrasounds including fetal anatomical surveys, assess fetal well-being, doppler studies and first trimester screens.

• Produces diagnostic images for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on pregnant patients
• Perform portable exams
• Transports patients to and from in patient settings
• May also assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis.
• Explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
• Maintains and calibrates equipment.
• Monitors, records and communicates as appropriate utilizing Phoenix system.
• May also assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis.

Requirements

• OB experience
• ROMS registered/eligible
• Graduate of accredited Ultrasound Program
