Summary We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our medical team in Mesa, AZ . The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging, assisting physicians in diagnostics, and ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure. Key Responsibilities Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures , including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, cardiac, and musculoskeletal scans. Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure a comfortable experience . Analyze ultrasound images and identify any abnormalities for physician review. Work closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnoses. Maintain and calibrate ultrasound machines to ensure optimal performance. Document and update patient records in the system. Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and infection control guidelines . Stay up-to-date with new ultrasound technologies and best practices . Requirements Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field. Certification: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or ARRT (Sonography) certification required. Experience: 1-3 years of ultrasound imaging experience preferred (new graduates with internships may apply). Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and software. Soft Skills: Strong patient care, attention to detail, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in OB/GYN, vascular, echocardiography, or musculoskeletal imaging . Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital, clinic, or outpatient setting .
