Ultrasound Technologist

The Registered Ultrasound Tech is responsible and accountable for providing quality imaging of patients to aid in the diagnosis and continuum of care of patients and assist Radiologist with exams.

• Hours: 8 hour shift, M 7:30a-4pm; T-Fr 7:30a-3pm
• $10,000 Sign On Bonus / Two (2) Year Agreement Available

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: 

• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. 
• Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds with proper body mechanics. 
• Spend eight hours or more performing Sonography exams in the department, surgery, emergency department, and patient floors. 
• Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an Ultrasound/Sonography program
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year related experience as a Sonographer
• Certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, and current CPR
