Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer- Full-Time- Edina, MN

Schedule/Shifts: Full-Time, at least 4 shifts/week M-F, 7:30am - 4:00pm. Days may vary depending on radiologist schedule.

Location: An independent clinic that specializes in breast imaging in Edina, MN.

Pay rate: Up to $85/hour depending on experience!

What we ask of you:

• Perform ultrasound procedures including but not limited to: Breast, Vascular, Carotid, Abdominal, OB/GYN, Extremity, Pelvic, Thyroid and Testicular.


• Work with the radiologist to provide necessary assistance, and educate patients on procedures performed and address patient concerns as needed.


• Provide proper patient information and medical history and perform administrative duties associated with each procedure, review physician orders and scan patients in accordance with CRL protocols.


• Maintain understanding of ultrasound equipment and coordinate maintenance when necessary. Order supplies as needed and stock linens daily. 


• Maintain understanding of emergency clinical procedures and maintain patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA guidelines.


• Assist and maintain US ACR accreditation.


• All other related duties as assigned.

What we require of you:

• Graduate of a diagnostic medical ultrasonography program or equivalent required.


• Satisfactory Completion of a clinical rotation in Radiology and/or Ultrasound prior to graduation.


• 
  ARDMS and RVT certifications are required.
  


• 2 years of Ultrasound/Sonographer experience required, breast ultrasound experience preferred.


• Current CPR certification and COVID vaccination required.


• Strong patient care and customer service skills, along with problem solving, decision making and time management skills. Work well with others.


• Previous outpatient clinical experience is a plus.
