Ultrasound Tech-Vascular

Aci Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient comfort, and providing accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
• Assess and evaluate ultrasound images for quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize infection risk.
• Monitor vital signs during examinations, especially in emergency medicine settings or at a Level II trauma center.
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.

Requirements

• Must have atleast a year of experience
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology related to ultrasonography and cardiology.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac catheterization is preferred.
• Strong understanding of physiology and its application in diagnostic imaging.
• Familiarity with working in a lab environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
• BLS, ARDMS, ARMDS RVT certifications required.
