Position Summary:
Citadel Security USA is hiring a part-time officer for daytime coverage in Avon. This position involves a mix of general security duties and regular interaction with guests, so being approachable while staying aware of your surroundings is important.
You will be moving through different areas during the shift, keeping an eye on activity and stepping in when needed. Some days are steady, others may be more active depending on what is going on at the property.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Walk lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and restricted sections during patrols
• Monitor cameras and alarms to stay aware of on-site activity
• Respond to incidents such as disturbances, alarms, or medical calls
• Follow property rules and apply site procedures when handling situations
• Assist guests with directions or general questions when needed
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the shift
• Address concerns or conflicts in a calm and professional way
• Watch entry points and confirm access for staff, vendors, and visitors
• Handle keys or access credentials and keep track of usage
• Write clear incident reports and maintain daily logs
• Report safety concerns or hazards to the appropriate contact

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to stay calm and professional in different situations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in hospitality, hotel security, or similar environments
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and access control
• Experience handling conflict resolution in a professional setting

Work Environment:

• Hotel or resort-style environment with regular guest interaction
• Mix of indoor duties and outdoor patrols
• Standing and walking for most of the shift while staying alert
