Schedule: Monday to Friday | 10:00 PM - 4:00 AM ( 32 hours per week)

Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Unarmed Security Officer to support overnight operations at a residential apartment property in Columbia. This position focuses on maintaining a secure environment for residents, monitoring property activity, and responding appropriately to incidents or concerns during overnight hours.
This role is best suited for someone who works well independently, communicates professionally with residents, and can remain attentive throughout the shift while handling routine patrol responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine walking patrols throughout the apartment community
• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and shared property spaces
• Interact professionally with residents, guests, and vendors when assistance is needed
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Respond to resident concerns and document incidents according to company procedures
• Maintain awareness of property conditions during overnight hours
• Assist with access point monitoring and visitor activity when required
• Use company applications or mobile reporting systems to complete reports and activity logs
• Follow post instructions, site procedures, and company standards always

Required Qualifications

• Active Guard Card required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable using mobile apps or basic technology platforms for reporting
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to remain alert and professional during overnight shifts

Preferred Skills

• Prior security, patrol, or residential property experience
• Good troubleshooting and decision-making abilities
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Experience handling incidents calmly and professionally
• Familiarity with report writing or electronic reporting systems
