THE OPPORTUNITY

We are searching for an Undercarriage Rebuilder – Track Press Operator to join our growing operations in Reserve, LA.

 

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Repair and rebuild all undercarriage component parts and assemblies.
• Operate all machines and equipment used in this operation.
• Provide on-the-job training to mechanics and helpers.
• Act as a temporary work center lead-person as assigned.
• Work in adverse weather and other adverse shop and field situations presented by customer needs.
• Communicate orally and in writing information, instructions, and explanations to associates, customers, and management      regarding equipment conditions, problems, and recommendations.
• Disassemble components, inspect parts, and check for wear and defects.
• Determine reparability, reusability, and extent of repairs required.
• Reassemble all types of undercarriages, assemblies, and components.
• Complete required timecards and service reports.
• Maintain company equipment - keep in good clean orderly condition.
• Adhere to all applicable safety policies.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS

• REQUIRED: High School Diploma, or equivalent
• REQUIRED: Valid driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Record
• REQUIRED: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• REQUIRED: Keep safety as a priority in the      work environment.
• REQUIRED: Own and maintain required personal tools 
• REQUIRED: Ability to successfully complete a skills assessment
• REQUIRED: Excellent client service skills. 
• HIGHLY PREFERRED: At least five years heavy equipment technician experience, preferably in a dealership environment.
• HIGHLY PREFERRED: Caterpillar work experience.
• HIGHLY PREFERRED: Proficient in rebuilding/repairing machinery including hydraulics, electrical, powertrain, engines, and Tier      IV Emissions systems.

• SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
