Undercoat & Bed Liner Technician

Casco Bay Ford is looking for an Undercoating & Bed Liner Technician to join our growing team! This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys hands-on work in an automotive environment. The right candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic. Prior experience in applying spray-on bed liners or undercoating is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual. Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for undercoating or bed liner application


• Mask, sand, and clean surfaces to ensure proper adhesion


• Apply corrosion protection undercoating and spray-in bed liners using specialized equipment


• Inspect work to ensure consistent quality and coverage


• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area


• Communicate with service advisors and team members regarding job status


• Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures


• Maintain inventory of coatings and supplies


• Ensure timely completion of assigned work

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with undercoating or spray-in bed liner application preferred (but not required)


• Experience in automotive detailing, body work, or paint application is a plus


• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work


• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently


• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in a shop environment


• Valid driver's license with clean driving record


• Dependable and punctual
