Underground Utility Pipe Layer

Drewry Site Development is hiring a full-time Underground Utility Pipe Layer for civil construction projects throughout Volusia County and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Install storm drainage, water, and sewer piping
• Set pipe to the proper line, grade, and elevation
• Assist with trench preparation, bedding, connections, and backfilling
• Use lasers, levels, hand tools, and pipe-laying equipment
• Follow plans, specifications, and foreman instructions
• Maintain a safe and productive job site

Requirements

• Previous underground utility or pipe-laying experience preferred
• Knowledge of trench safety and proper pipe installation
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must follow PPE and safety requirements
• Drug-free workplace

Schedule and Pay

• Full-time, five days per week
• Typical hours: 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Overtime available
• Pay based on experience
