Underwriting Verifier

Join the dedicated team at Easy Auto & Sunrise Acceptance as an Underwriting Verifier! We are seeking an organized and customer-oriented individual to work in our Corporate finance office located in Cleveland, TN. As an Underwriting Verifier, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Credit Managers by preparing and verifying the necessary information for consumer credit applications. This involves:

• Thoroughly reviewing consumer credit applications for all required Underwriting fields
• Following up with requests for missing information from internal and outside sources
• Calling employers, landlords and references to confirm the accuracy of the data provided
• Providing customers with an easy buying process by identifying potential efficiencies
• Sending required compliance notices to applicants
• Data entry into multiple internet based computer systems

Our Verifiers work closely with the Credit Managers and VP of Operations to complete the daily verification and underwriting activities.

Requirements include:

• One year or more experience in underwriting, finance, or related field preferred but not required.
• Must possess the ability to read, write and fluently speak the English language.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Must be patient, friendly, courteous and respectful in any situation.
• Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must demonstrate professionalism during all interactions with customers, verification contacts, and coworkers.
• Must be self-motivated, highly detail oriented, and efficient.
• Great attitude with high-energy personality.
• Team player, willing to assist coworkers as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record required, as some occasional day travel between locations may be necessary.
