Core Linen Services is a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing services around the country. Our focus is on service, quality and safety which enable our clients to provide essential services to their patients and guests. The Company operates across 20+ states and is a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, based in Miami, FL.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the overall operation of an off-site depot linen operation. This role includes the responsibility for associate performance, customer relations, financial management, safety, and administrative compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The daily operations of a laundry facility in the processing and delivery of linens.

Manages the development and training of the staff in efficiently producing a high-quality product.

Fiscal management of the costs and expenses for the operation.

Handles all human resources issues such as training, regulatory compliance, staffing, payroll, and benefit administration for the entire staff.

Direct liaison with the on-site client; producing, reporting, feedback, and customer relations

Oversee regulatory compliance for all required agencies.

Must be knowledgeable of State, OSHA, and applicable local requirements

Liaison for all customer departments, Linen Review Committees, and Operations Committees within the property as necessary.

Strong customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsible for inventory management, linen par levels, linen tracking data/ software utilization and reporting

Manages internal distribution staff, ability to perform distribution function as needed.

Conducts par level analysis and adjustments.

Develops action plans and development plans for associates, assuring their growth and success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations

Exhibits initiative, sense of urgency, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership

Ability to use experience of a working environment to meet established goals and objectives.

Effective organization, planning, problem solving and analytical skills.

Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to report on daily operations.

Minimum of 2 years combined operations and/or management experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of work site this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, or stretching.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Exposure to characteristic noise and warm temperatures of laundry environment.

Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, and other issues at the jobsite.

Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and working on a computer or laundry equipment.

EDUCATION:

BS/BA in Business Management or its equivalent preferred.

A minimum of two years operations and/or management experience, preferably laundry operations with large scale plants in management or commercial field.

Spanish language skills a plus.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
