Position Overview:

As the Unit Public Affairs Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies to promote SIKKY MANUFACTURING and its products. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to ensure that our brand messaging is consistent and effective. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement public relations plans to increase brand awareness and promote SIKKY MANUFACTURING's products

- Create and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry professionals to secure coverage and endorsements

- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to relevant media outlets

- Plan and coordinate events, trade shows, and other promotional activities

- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide reports to management

- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms

- Respond to media inquiries and manage crisis communication when necessary

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities for promotion

- Manage the company's social media presence and engage with followers to increase brand awareness and engagement

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field

- 2+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in the automotive industry

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proven track record of securing media coverage and building relationships with media professionals

- Experience planning and executing events and trade shows

- Knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Passion for and knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus
