Position: Unit Public Affairs Representative

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Unit Public Affairs Representative. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

The Unit Public Affairs Representative will be responsible for promoting and protecting the company's image and reputation through effective communication and public relations strategies. This individual will serve as a liaison between the company and the public, ensuring that all communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with the company's values and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote the company's brand and reputation

- Create and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, community leaders, and other stakeholders

- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to promote company initiatives and events

- Monitor media coverage and respond to any negative or inaccurate information

- Plan and coordinate company events and sponsorships to increase brand visibility

- Manage the company's social media presence and engage with followers to promote positive interactions and address any concerns

- Serve as a spokesperson for the company during interviews and media appearances

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify potential opportunities and risks for the company

- Assist in crisis communication efforts, if necessary

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, preferably in a corporate or agency setting

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong understanding of media relations and experience working with media outlets

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful public relations strategies

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong organizational and project management skills

- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools

- Knowledge of real estate industry is a plus
