Who are you?

You’re friendly, dependable, and passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals. At C&N, we’re seeking a Universal Banker to deliver exceptional service while building lasting relationships with our customers. 

In this role, you’ll provide personalized service by processing transactions, opening accounts, educating customers on C&N’s products and digital banking solutions, and identifying opportunities to meet their financial needs. You’ll also support neighboring branch locations as needed, making a positive impact throughout the communities we serve. You will be responsible for:

1. 
   

   Customer Relationships & Service: Deliver an outstanding customer experience by building relationships, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized financial solutions. 

   
   


2. 
   

    Branch Operations: Process a variety of teller and account transactions accurately while supporting the daily operational needs of the branch.

   
   


3. 
   

   Account Opening & Customer Education: Assist customers with opening consumer and business deposit accounts, enrolling in digital banking services, and utilizing C&N's technology solutions.

   
   


4. 
   

   Sales & Referrals: Identify customer needs, recommend appropriate C&N products and services, and refer customers to specialized banking partners when appropriate.

   
   

Requirements:

You will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and less than 1 year of previously related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

You will demonstrate well-developed abilities and/or proven record of success in the following areas:

This position supports multiple branch locations, with the home branch based in Sayre. In addition to the Sayre Branch, the individual will provide coverage and support at our Athens, East Smithfield, and Troy branches as needed.

Mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel that exceeds the normal commute between the employee’s home location and the designated home branch.
