Urethane Prep - 1st Shift

1st shift (3:30am – 11:30am Mon-Fri)

Molded Dimensions, located in Port Washington, manufactures precision molded rubber and cast polyurethane mechanical components used in a variety of industries from heavy machines to small engines, marine, waste management, automotive, medical food processing, construction and mining, to name a few. We are looking for a motivated Resin Prep on 1st shift to help monitor inventory and prepare urethane material to be used throughout the Urethane Plant. This fast-paced position will provide front end support to our production process and will be a key contributor to our manufacturing process. 

Primary Job Duties:

The Mold Prep will ensure urethane material is prepared and available for production schedules on a daily basis. Responsible for mixing materials (resins, curatives, pigments, etc) by weighing and measuring specific amounts in accordance with formulas and established guidelines.

• Interpret formula sheets and accurately measuring and dosing resin and material additives into properly sized buckets.


• Ensuring molders have material ready and heated for every job on the production schedule.


• Monitor material inventory and alerting production scheduler when inventory levels are low.


• Keeping the work area very clean and organized.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED


2. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred


3. Basic math skills and ability to accurately use measurement tools and equipment is necessary


4. Attention to detail and strong communication skills required


5. Able to lift 50 pounds
