Job Description - Urgent Care Physician

Job Quick Facts:

• Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing

• Coverage Type: Clinical Only

• Shift Schedule: Up to 14 shifts/month

- Mon-Fri; 8a-8p

- Sat-Sun; 9a-5p

- Min of 2 weeks/month

• Patient Demographics: All Ages

• Patient Volume: 30-50

• Support Staff:

- 1 MA & 1 Office Staff

- Scribes and Rad Techs

• Procedures:

- Suturing, Wound Care

- I&Ds, Splinting, X-Ray

- ECG over read, Place IVs

• Beds in the Dept: 5

• Lab, X-Ray & EKG Onsite

• EMR: Epic

• Other Info:

- Will work/cover 6 facilities

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active MO License

• BC/BE (If BE, within 5 years of residency)

• BLS (AHA)

• Clean Record

• Case logs (50 patient encounters in the last 12 months)
