BrightStar Care Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated RN to provide care for individuals in the White Bear Lake area. This position would be from August 27th-June 5th. We are looking to hire for this position immediately as this position just recently opened back up. This position will be paid for observed holidays during the school year. The work schedule would follow their academic calendar.
Position Summary:
· Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
· Program: Special Education
Key Responsibilities:
1. Health/Nursing Support: (3 specific students)
o Provide specific nursing or health-related procedures for a small group of students.
o G-tube feedings and medication
o Catheter for a student
o Breathing treatment and inhalers at school; G-tube medication
2. Personal Care Duties:
o Assist with changing, grooming, feeding, transfers, supporting mobility, and other hygiene-related needs.
3. Educational Support:
o Support students in developing life skills and participating in school-related activities as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in accordance with professional standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Minnesota.
- Previous experience in a home health or acute care setting is advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
