Summary

Cetechs, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, is seeking a Urologist to join our team of professionals to support Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, in Clarksburg, WV

Position Overview:
The Urologist is responsible for providing comprehensive urological services in accordance with the qualifications and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care:

  • Provide timely and effective urological evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients on-site at the VA facility.

  • Ensure patients are seen promptly 
    
    Be available and present in the clinic during established clinic hours (currently 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday).

• On-Call Duties:

  • Provide weeknight call coverage from 4:00 pm to 7:30 am, averaging 10 days per month (may vary based on staffing).

  • Provide weekend call coverage from 7:30 am Saturday to 7:30 am Monday, averaging one weekend per month (may vary based on staffing).

  • Be available for phone consultations with VA residents and physicians at all times while on call.

  • Respond to phone calls within 15 minutes and be available on-site within 60 minutes when required.

• Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records 

• Qualifications

• Licensure:

  • Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.

  • No history of license restriction, suspension, revocation, voluntary surrender, or denial of application.

• Board Certification:

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology (ABU).

  • Must maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.

• Must maintain ongoing competency and participate in required continuing education.

Work Schedule

• Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (subject to change as deemed appropriate by the Chief of Staff).

• On-Call Hours:

  • Weeknights: 4:00 pm – 7:30 am (average 10 days/month)

  • Weekends: 7:30 am Saturday – 7:30 am Monday (average 1 weekend/month)

  • On-call providers must be available by phone within 15 minutes and on-site within 60 minutes when required.
