Case Mix: General Uro (circumcision, cystoscopy, TURP, ureteroscopy, etc)

FACILITY INFORMATION

Trauma Level: IV
EMR: Meditech, eClinical Works
Support Staff: Clinic MA, Perioperative nurses, RN

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE (if just out of residency & will get BC within 12 months)
Licenses: Active OR license (or eligibility to obtain)
DEA: Active DEA
Certifications: BLS
Deal-breaker: Needs to be able to see minimum 17 patients in clinic daily/fill surgery slots

Duties & Responsibilities

Attend to clinic patients, managing a minimum of 17 patients per day
Perform surgical procedures (as listed) in hospital and clinic settings
Provide 24-hour call coverage for hospital emergencies and admissions Monday through Thursday
Manage urological conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings
Collaborate with support staff including MAs, perioperative nurses, and clinic RNs
