  • Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesia

  • Support Staff Available: RNs, APPs, Anesthesia


PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE



  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

  • Credentialing Timeline: 90 days


REQUIRED PROCEDURES



  • General Urology (Adult & Pediatric)

  • Advanced Endoscopic Techniques

  • Laparoscopic Surgeries

  • Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy

  • Ureteroscopy

  • Radical Cystectomy with Ileal Loop Conduit

  • Radical Prostatectomy

  • Nephrectomy

  • Prostatectomy

  • Renal and Bladder Ultrasound (with or without biopsy)

  • TRUS Biopsies

  • Incontinence Procedures


JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Board: Board Certified in Urology (BC)

  • Licenses: Active CO License or Universal License (IMLC)

  • DEA: Active DEA Certification

  • Certifications: BLS, DEA

  • Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency (Epic) required; must complete EMR training prior to start


Duties & Responsibilities



  • Provide weekend trauma call coverage (Friday 7a – Monday 7a)

  • Perform general urology procedures including advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic surgeries

  • Manage adult and pediatric urology cases in the emergency department

  • Conduct renal and bladder ultrasound, TRUS biopsies, and other diagnostic procedures

  • Collaborate with RNs, APPs, and anesthesia staff as needed
