PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults (18+)

Patient Volume/Census: Clinic: 20-25/day; Inpatient: 4-10/day

Rounding: 4-10 patients per day

Case Mix: General urology, including cancers

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Meditech (hospital), Athena (outpatient)

Specialty Backup Available: 3 partners in practice

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Rhode Island Medical License, RI DEA, RI CSR

Board: Board Certified in Urology

DEA: Rhode Island DEA required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide outpatient clinic services (Mon – Fri, 8a – 4:30p)

Provide inpatient rounding (4-10 patients per day)

Participate in on-call coverage (nights and weekends)

Perform general urologic surgeries (8-10 per week)

Manage general urologic conditions including cancers
