Job Description - Urology Medical Assistant - Front and Back Office

Back/Front Office Medical Assistant with Urology experience needed for busy Urology office located in Anaheim. Small 2 physician friendly office open since 1987 with a committed staff.

Responsibilities:

The duties of this position will include: rooming patients, assisting during examination and procedures, preparing and cleaning treatment rooms and medical instruments.

Able to assist with Biopsies, Cystoscopies, Uroflow, and other procedures.

Collecting patient lab reports as needed, sending out labs and urine cultures.

Multi tasking and assisting in other areas as needed.

Answer phones as needed

Schedule patients

Qualifications:

At least one year Urology experience working a Urology back office.

Knowledge of insurance groups e.g. Medi-Cal, CalOptima, Medicare, HMO, and PPO.

Must be bilingual.

EMR experience required
