Urology Ultrasound Technician

Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Urology Ultrasound Technician to support our urology team across two sites3 days in North Adams and 2 days in Pittsfield. This full-time role requires performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including support during surgical operations. Youll play a key role in capturing precise diagnostic images independently and ensuring excellent patient care throughout the imaging process.

Primary Duties:

• Perform urologic ultrasound examinations in outpatient and surgical settings.
• Prepare patients, position equipment, and acquire quality images as required by physicians.
• Operate and maintain imaging systems, including PACS and related hospital systems.
• Provide assistance during procedures in the OR, adapting to potential schedule adjustments.
• Use proper sterile techniques, including preparing sterile trays and maintaining surgical field integrity.
• Safely assist with lifting, positioning, and moving patients and equipment as part of routine responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Sonography program.
• Must obtain ARDMS or ARRT ultrasound certification within 2 years of hire.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Possession of a Massachusetts Radiography License (MALIC) preferred.
• Additional diagnostic imaging credentials and state licensure are a plus.
• Ideally, candidates will have at least 3 years of ultrasound experience, particularly in a urology setting.
