Job Description - US FE Expansion Planning Engineer
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Optimize capacity of equipment base and lead site- and tool-level optimization studies for efficiency improvement Collaborate with partners to understand future tool and process roadmaps, and calculate network capacity impacts of process changes Complete financial analyses before new capital equipment is purchased, including metrics optimization, process flexibility, capacity sharing and equipment repurpose Handle site tool utilization and capacity planning models to optimize the site's deployed capital Design, track, and communicate capital change proposals to manufacturing senior leaders through reporting tools (e.g. Tableau) and formal presentation Build and implement tools to audit manufacturing capital efficiency and identify cost reduction opportunities Lead and communicate improvement opportunities and implementation plans to all relevant levels and functions in manufacturing Apply new (e.g. Python, SQL, R) and traditional (Excel, VBA) methods to improve and automate tasks in the planning system/models Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Business-related or quantitative field (Finance, Economics, or similar subject area), and 2 years of experience in a combination of capacity planning, business analyst and / or process analyst roles Experience turning sophisticated and ambiguous problem statements into structured solutions while working in a highly multi-functional environment Experience operating independently while maintaining a high degree of organization and control Experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, defining recommended actions, and reporting results across diverse technical and non-technical groups Experience working in teams, establishing and maintaining multi-functional and working relationships 1- 3 years of experience in crafting and developing web-based reporting metrics (e.g. Tableau, Python)
