Our client is seeking 2 Material Handlers/Assemblers in Belton, TX to start asap.
Assignment Type Temp
Work Hours Monday-Friday 1st shift: 9am until complete or 3rd shift:12:30am until complete
Pay Rate $ 21.89
PPE and Dress Code Light Industrial Roles: Casual but appropriate wear; steel toe shoes or boots are always required. No false eyelashes or nails, no jewelry. No clothing with rips, tears, or holes.
Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required, must be listed on all resumes.
Responsibilities: Hand stacking cases of product into trailers.
Assembling cardboard displays and boxes
Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers, as well as collect empty pallet boards and carry them to storage
Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer
General housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required (e.g. you may be asked to sweep the floor, help clean a trailer, take out the trash, etc.)
Lift objects that weigh anywhere between 15 pounds and 50 pounds (i.e. anything from a bowling ball to a twin-size mattress) with or without a reasonable accommodation
Be able to lift 40- 45 pounds over your head without a reasonable accommodation
Requirements: Must be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods
Ability to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products
Must be willing to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces
PPE - Must wear steel toes boots
