Your Opportunity

The US South Program Management Construction Management (PMCM) Infrastructure Construction Management (CM) Leader is a growth leader and client manager responsible for the CM strategy, leading the pursuit, delivering excellent work to our clients throughout the Infrastructure CM Business across the US South. Accountable for the top and bottom-line results leads and focuses on the growth of the US South PMCM Infrastructure CM Business, while providing innovative client solutions with exceptional quality and execution that fulfills client expectations.

You will play a pivotal role in expanding our existing CM client and project base and assisting to position the firm to acquire new business. You will work together with the PMCM BL Leadership, Water Regional Business Leaders (RBL) and Regional Delivery Lead (RDL) as well as the leaders from other Stantec business lines (Buildings, Infrastructure, Federal, Environmental Services and Energy & Resources) to provide operational, technical and people leadership while continuing our growth & success in CM.

Your Key Responsibilities
Client Focus:
Responsible for fulfilling client expectations through strong account management and personally leading accounts for major clients
Achieve client- and proposal-specific marketing and business development (M&BD) sales goals
Lead and participate in key pursuits and campaigns
Work with the Regional and PMCM Leadership and leaders from other Business Lines to drive the client relationship strategy and drive strong results in the client satisfaction survey
Business Development and Collaboration:
Lead the US South PMCM Infrastructure CM business development efforts through focused key pursuits, M&BD efficiency and strong sales strategy focused on winning work and growing the business
Work with Regional and PMCM Leadership to identify priorities and strategic opportunities based on market research and client relationships
Responsible for expanding client base and for developing win strategies, pursuit plan and proposal efforts including cross-selling with other Business Lines
Track pursuit success rate and return on investment (ROI) rate on client by client basis and for key pursuits
Participate as a key contributor in the Go/No Go Review process and track compliance of the Go/No Go Process
Utilize, maintain, and monitor the Stantec Opportunity Pipeline for all M&BD efforts
Increase visibility of Stantec by sharing our knowledge and innovation story through key client and industry engagements to enhance our reputation and drive revenue

Project Focus:
Lead delivery of significant US South PMCM Infrastructure CM project pursuits
Actively participate, including contribution to written content, in major projects in key roles such as Independent Technical Reviewers, Project Principal, or PM as required
Conduct risk management related to projects and pursuits including review of contracts, fees, and proposals on large pursuits and in coordination with Regional and PMCM leaders and the risk management team

Practice:
Collaborate with local Stantec leadership to establish, nurture and support cross-discipline project communication, and best practices
Inspire, motivate, and hold team members accountable for project delivery, QAQC, discipline excellence and technical quality, documents quality and best practices in the execution of work
Collaborate with the Regional and PMCM Leadership and local leadership to gather feedback and ensure that the Stantec CM teams are delivering high quality results, making course corrections when necessary
Collaborate with Regional and PMCM Leadership and local area leadership, including Project Managers, to ensure the business unit meets its operation goals and adheres to the Stantec PM Frameworks
Commitment and leadership around a zero safety incident culture

Provide broad leadership influence:
Act as a highly regarded leader within the PMCM Business, thought partner, and a source of counsel and advice for the US South Infrastructure CM Business Leadership
Be personally involved in key client relationships, strategic project pursuits and project delivery
Proactively work to further develop Stantec's high- performance culture with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and productivity
Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within Stantec
Uphold a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, encourages individual integrity, diversity, and focuses our core values
Provide collaboration with Regional and PMCM Leadership and US South RBLs for all facets of the business

People Leadership:
Collaborate with Regional and PMCM Leadership for proper staffing of all projects including hiring, staff transitions, and labor sharing
Support Stantec with developing, attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent
Foster employee connectedness by interfacing frequently with employees
Participate in office and regional meetings to communicate the vision, business strategy and progress of the US South Infrastructure CM business
Support the overall talent management including career development, employee engagement, succession planning, coaching, and mentoring, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development for related staff

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials
A track record of establishing and maintaining client relationships
Strong ability to develop business and promote business relationships
Strong ability to motivate staff and promote teamwork within and across the geography
Excellent organization, coordination, collaboration, management, and leadership skills
Demonstrated technical leadership in various disciplines of Water and other Business Lines (Program Management and Construction Management)
Results oriented individual who excels in multi-disciplinary environment
Strong project strategic planning and delivery experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software
Licensed Professional Engineer or Certified Construction Manager preferred
Must have valid driver's license and good driving record

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 20 years' related work, leadership, financial management, business development and consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Professional registration in related field.
