Used Car Repair/Service Technician

What We Need From You- Job Duties and Requirements:

• Complete MPI inspection for service advisors, including estimate and explanation
• Test drive vehicles with customers to evaluate noise and vibration concerns
• Repair vehicles based on diagnosed issues and repair estimate
• Test drive vehicles after repairs have been done to ensure customer’s complaints have been resolved.
• Determine any additional work that should be done to the vehicle after a test drive
• File appropriate documentation on each repair
• Keep up to date on all manufacturer information and training that will affect vehicles' repairs (recalls, etc.)
• Return the vehicle to the appropriate location, ensuring the vehicle is locked, numbered location is updated, and wiped off/cleaned accordingly.

Essential Job Functions:

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• High school education or equivalent
• Must have 1-3 years of experience as a service technician
• Certain manufacturer certifications are preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures and noise levels
