Used Car Sales Associate

Malloy Ford of Alexandria is seeking an experienced Used Car Sales Associate to join our used and pre-owned automotive sales team. Used Car Sales Associate Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a used vehicle that is right for their needs


• Selling a minimum number of used vehicles based on the goals and objectives defined by the used car sales manager


• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening


• Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively


• Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification prior to test drive


• Build strong relationships with customers and internal team members

Used Car Sales Associate Qualifications:

• Proven success in automotive sales experience


• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills


• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment


• Strong written and communication skills


• Experience using dealership management systems and CRM software


• High level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction


• High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred


• Valid driver's license required


• Reynolds & Reynolds ignite and FOCUS CRM experience highly preferred
