Job Description - Used Car Sales Director



Used Car Sales Director – High Volume Store (Springfield, MO)
Reliable Superstore | Berkshire Hathaway Automotive


Reliable Superstore in Springfield, Missouri is a high-volume, fast-paced Berkshire Hathaway Automotive dealership seeking a Toyota Used Car Director who can lead the department, drive performance, and hold a team accountable. This is a leadership role for someone who knows how to move inventory quickly while maintaining a low days supply, develop people, and maximize profitability without excuses.



Responsibilities



  • Grow our vehicle acquisitions alongside our Acquisition Manager

  • Owning the performance of the used car department from acquisition to sale

  • Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team

  • Managing multiple deals simultaneously with precision and urgency

  • Desking deals in CDK with strong structure and profitability focus

  • Maintaining aggressive inventory turn while protecting gross

  • Driving a culture of accountability, energy, and execution

  • Conducting daily lot walks and monitoring inventory to ensure it is always standing tall

  • Daily involvement in sales associates’ leads, including following up on previous day’s business, missed deals, and appointments; all efforts are logged and reviewed daily
