Used Car Sales Manager

We’re currently seeking a motivated and experienced Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned department and drive continued growth.

Responsibilities

  Oversee all aspects of the used vehicle department, including appraisals, acquisitions, pricing, reconditioning, and inventory management.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed volume, gross, and customer satisfaction goals.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies to maintain competitive positioning and profitability.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure the dealership maintains a strong used vehicle inventory that aligns with sales demand.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with the service department to ensure timely reconditioning of vehicles.

  
  


• 
  

  Implement effective marketing strategies to promote used vehicle sales.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain compliance with all company policies and state/federal regulations.

  
  


• 
  

  Train, mentor, and develop staff to improve performance and retention.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive sales management, preferably in used car operations.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven track record of achieving sales and gross profit objectives.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of vehicle valuation, market analytics, and inventory management tools (e.g., vAuto, Drive Centric, CDK.).

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
