Overview

Ed Martin Toyota is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Used Car Porter to join our team. As a Used Car Porter, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our used vehicle inventory, assisting with lot organization, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities 

• Move vehicles as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards


• Wash, vacuum, and clean used vehicles for the lot and delivery


• Assist with organizing the used car lot for optimal presentation and accessibility


• Perform vehicle check-in upon delivery (inspect for damage, check VIN, etc.)


• Transport vehicles to/from other dealerships or service locations as needed


• Monitor and maintain fuel levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle readiness


• Keep the lot and work areas clean, organized, and free of debris


• Assist with snow removal or lot maintenance depending on season


• Support sales and service departments with vehicle-related tasks


• Follow all dealership safety and operational procedures


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record


• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred)


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently


• Attention to detail and a positive attitude


• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions


• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
