Performance Toyota Fairfield is actively seeking skilled Used Car Technicians who can provide top-notch repairs and maintenance across a wide range of vehicle makes and models. • $22.00 to $35.00 Per Hour (experience-based)
• Up to $10,000 (experience determined by hiring manager)
• 40 Hours Per Week / Four 10 Hour Days - Off Three

Requirements

Responsibilities: 

• Thorough Inspection: Conduct comprehensive assessments of used cars to identify mechanical and electrical issues, bodywork damage, and overall performance. 
• Diagnostic Testing: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems and determine the necessary repairs or maintenance needed. 
• Repair and Maintenance: Perform a wide range of repairs, including engine work, transmission servicing, and brake repairs, while ensuring all tasks meet safety and quality standards. 
• Routine Servicing: Carry out regular maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to enhance vehicle performance and longevity. 
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts used, and other services performed, contributing to the overall management of the service department. 
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and options, fostering transparency and building trust in the service provided. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and service personnel to solve complex issues and improve shop efficiency. 
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• ASE certifications preferred but not required
• Two or more years of working automotive repair experience preferred
• Diploma from an accredited automotive technology school is a plus
• Driving record allowing you to be insured to drive customer and company vehicles
