Location: Sir Walter Chevrolet – 8501 Glenwood Rd. Raleigh, NC 27612

  Hours: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Pay Range: $20 – $30/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

This is an ideal role for a technician with a solid base of general automotive repair experience. You’ll be responsible for a range of used vehicle reconditioning tasks, working independently during evening hours in a modern, climate-controlled shop with company-provided technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance • Conduct NC State Inspections • Install and repair brakes, tires, and perform alignments • Replace mechanical and electrical components as needed • Assist in basic diagnostics (code reading, system testing) • Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently • Ensure all vehicles meet dealership and safety standards before final delivery

What You Bring to the Table:

• At least 1 year of automotive technician experience (preferred) • NC State Inspection License (or the ability to obtain one) • Your own basic tools and a positive, professional attitude • Entry-level diagnostic ability • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Dependability and the ability to work solo during evening hours.
