Used Vehicle Technician

Irwin Lincoln Mazda is seeking an experienced and dependable Used Vehicle Technician to join our growing service team. This role is essential to our pre-owned operation—ensuring every vehicle on our lot meets our high standards for safety, performance, and quality. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive inspections on incoming used vehicles
  
  
  • Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, and other components
  
  
  • Complete maintenance and reconditioning work such as oil changes, filters, tires, alignments, and general repairs
  
  
  • Identify needed repairs and clearly communicate findings to the team
  
  
  • Ensure all work meets dealership, OEM, and safety requirements
  
  
  • Accurately document all services performed on repair orders
  
  
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
  
  
  • Work efficiently to meet used vehicle reconditioning timelines and production goals
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  
  
  
  • Automotive technician experience required (dealership or independent shop)
  
  
  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical skills
  
  
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
  
  • Experience using diagnostic tools and scan equipment
  
  
  • Valid driver’s license
  
  
  • Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
