Job Title: IT/OT Systems Specialist

Location: Hillsboro, OR (ONSITE)

Duration: 6 Months contract

Rate: $35-39/hr. on w2

Job Description:

Summary:

This position based in Hillsboro, Oregon facility, provides the opportunity to have a key role in a highly automated pharmaceutical filling and packaging facility. The site employs a highly integrated computer control system to manage plant operations and manufacturing data. The candidate will report to the Infrastructure Squad Lead in the Hillsboro ITOT department. The ITOT Systems Specialist is responsible for installation, hardware deployment and software enhancements, break-fix hardware maintenance, and qualification of the Hillsboro Manufacturing Plant Infrastructure Devices and Peripherals; including the barcode printing, barcode scanners, and rugged mobile computers.

The ITOT Systems Specialist will execute the delivery of services per service level agreements to internal customers. The ITOT Systems Specialist is responsible for authoring and maintaining GMP/Non-GMP design documentation, change control, computer validation testing, training, and departmental support processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Execute hardware and software device installation, configuration, implementation, break/fix support and maintenance, and capacity expansion of barcode printing, barcode scanners, and rugged mobile computers.
Initiate, troubleshoot and resolve trouble ticket requests and incidents.
Develop and maintain GMP/Non-GMP design documentation and diagrams.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with current standard operating procedures (SOP) and department procedures.
Operate and execute change control process for system deployment and release management of system software across Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) validated and Non-GMP environments.
Qualifications / Requirements: A minimum of 2-3 years IT Help Desk Technician and/or IT Desktop Support Specialist experience involved in installation, configuration, implementation and/or support of hardware break/fix, operating system, and printing preferably in a regulated industry or equivalent experience.
Strong experience with IT troubleshooting, problem solving, and resolution.
Experience with Bluetooth, Wired Ethernet, and Wireless Local-Area Network.
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite of Applications.
Installation and troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 client workstation operating systems.
Experience with desktop, printing, server, network troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Must be capable of transporting, deploying, lifting, and moving device peripherals infrastructure equipment weighing up to 50lbs
CompTIA A certification recommended.
Experience with trouble ticket management system a plus e.g. ServiceNow
Experience with Intermec or Zebra Technologies barcode scanner and barcode printers a plus.
Experience with Intermec or Zebra Technologies rugged mobile computers a plus.
