Utilities Worker 9-2025

Job Summary:

A National Transit, LLC / MARTA Mobility is seeking a dedicated Utilities Worker to join our team! This dual-role position requires flexibility, as it involves responsibilities across both utilities and lot operations. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet is fueled, maintained, clean, and ready for service each day.

Reports To: Utilities Supervisor, Walter Lawrence

Key Responsibilities:

Utilities Worker Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Fueling:
  
  
  
  • Fuel all vehicles.
  
  
  • Replenish necessary fluids.
  
  
  • Log and record fueling and fluid replenishment information accurately.
  
  
  
  


• Vehicle Handling:
  
  
  
  • Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles safely and efficiently.
  
  
  
  


• Maintenance Support:
  
  
  
  • Perform light maintenance tasks in shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
  
  
  • Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
  
  
  
  


• Vehicle Cleaning:
  
  
  
  • Clean and detail the interiors and exteriors of vehicles to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  
  
  
  


• Additional Tasks:
  
  
  
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  
  
  
  

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 P.M. - 3:30 A.M. (Utilities Worker)


• Off Days: Thursday and Friday

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Valid driver's license.


• Ability to operate and maneuver various types of vehicles.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is advantageous.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Good communication skills.

Compensation:

• Pay rate of $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.
