Utility Foreperson - Water Collection Distribution

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Performs all functions of a Utility Operator; assists Utility Manager in planning and directing the department’s operations and staff; may coordinate with Engineers and Contractors on projects and operations. May perform all functions of a Utility Operator.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Class B Water License.
Class C Wastewater or SC Collection System License.
Five years Collection and Distribution Maintenance Experience.
A valid Class B commercial driver’s license.
Associates Degree in Water Environment Technology or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Class A Water License.
Class B or SB Collection System License
Two years lead or supervisory experience.
Three years of experience at a Class B Water Filtration Facility.
Two years direct experience with dynamic  hydraulic pressure zones
Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or environmental services or related field.
Experience working for a growing city or county.
