MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

·         Perform routine custodial work in all areas of production – sweeping, cleaning, trash removal

·         Remove scrap & refuse

·         Empty waste receptacles

·         Use company vehicle for pick-up & delivery of various items

·         Perform material handling functions – loading/unloading/moving material within the plant/yard/work site

·         Count, packs, store, handle, deliver materials/supplies/in process/finished goods to production and shipping areas

·         Sorting manually or with automated system

·         Quality checks, basket changes, backup for break coverage to maintain equipment running

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of 5S
• Valid drivers license
• Able to operate forklift and pallet jack
• Min 1 year experience in manufacturing environment
• Able to stand, walk & bend most of the shift
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Some climbing, crawling, and kneeling

• Compliance with all Safety, TS16949 & ISO9000 requirements

This position pays $18.05/hr plus the chance to make an additional 8% production incentive and 3% attendance incentive each week. This is a 1st shift, union position.
