Job Overview We are seeking a new Utility Inspector to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a Utility Inspector, you join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever-evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located on various client sites throughout southern Louisiana. Key Responsibilities
Act as an independent verifier of utility and contractor work
Ensure compliance with NESC, OSHA, and utility construction standards
Identify safety, structural, and workmanship defects
Provide defensible documentation for audits, inspections and regulatory review
Document Control
Professional reporting suitable for regulatory review
3-5+ years in overhead distribution, pole inspection or utility QA/QC
Experience with joint-use (electric, telecom, CATV)
Prior field construction experience
Experience reading, understanding and interpreting construction redlines
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (Utility or Construction)
In depth knowledge of NESC electrical codes and regulations for the state of Louisiana
Basic knowledge of reporting and construction management programs (ProCore)
Understanding of data validation and audit trail awareness
The ability to use GPS-enabled mobile inspection software
Preferred Qualifications
Utility Pole Inspection Certification
QA/QC inspector Certification
CCQM/CQM Certification
Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt
ISO 9001 awareness
NESC familiarity or training certification
CQA (quality auditor certification)
Entergy Power Safe courses for line inspection (substation specific)

Salary Range: $65,312-81,640, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
