UTILITY MILLPERSON - TERTIARY PLANT (Night Shift)

Kapaa Quarry Location

Immediate opening for an experienced professional at our Kapaa Quarry Aggregates department.  Primary responsibility involves tending of the crushing and screening plant and related plant equipment.  Monitors plant equipment during operation, reports conditions and makes adjustments when necessary in conjunction with plant operator and/or supervisor.  Checks finish product for contamination.  Performs screen inspections and changes.  Inspects conveyor belts, idlers, and pulleys.  Responsible for belt training and assists in conveyor belt changes.  Assists tradespeople with repairs and adjustments as directed.  Responsible for the daily and periodic services (e.g., greasing, cleaning, etc.) and makes minor repairs and adjustments when necessary.  Checks and reports unsafe conditions and mechanical defects on equipment.  Responsible for keeping tool inventory and maintaining tools in proper condition.  Knowledge of oils, lubricants, coolants, filters, etc.  Able to use hand and power tools common to the trade and can operate equipment incidental to other duties.  Must have a valid driver's license.  Able to lift and carry 45+ lbs.
